Event Park Moving Forward!

The Lease is Signed, on a 2.2 acre parcel in the Gillett Industrial Park. This property is located adjacent the 20 acres of property the Club already owns. After the Wetland Delination we discovered that there is still several hundred feet of frontage of our own property that can be developed.

The club will meet to start the physical plan in early November 2009. The timeline for this park is going to be breakneck because the club wants to hold a minimum of two events in 2010.

Some of our Accomplishments to date

20 Acre land aquisition, Donated to the Club from Nancy Smith and Clayton and Barbara Smith of Gillett.

2.2 Acre Lease aquasition, Leased from Lisowe Heating & Cooling

181 Truck Loads of Dirt placed to be used for the extreme challenge track. Donated to the club in tandem by The City of Gillett and Peters Construction 

20 x 30 Pavillion Purchased and readied for a spring move, Purchased from Oconto County Department of Human Services

15 x 15 x 20 foot Steel Framed tower aquired, readied for a move to the park to be used for an announcing tower. Donated to club by Ironhorse Recycling.

Sign placed 

Other Sign standards acquiried. Donated to club by Ironhorse Recycling

Sound System Amp/mixer donated to club by Spirits of Gillett

What we have to do next

  The next thing we need to do is draw our plan and submit it to the City Planning committee. Once the plan is drawn and approved we can set work dates and so on to begin implimenting the plan.
