New Business

a.

When talking about the club it needs to be done more professionally. Don't point fingers and call names. If you have an issue with other organizations, deal with it within the club. RGI has severed their relationship with WATVA due to budgetary issues. Seven or eight fire departments will help at events. GCP will donate the equipment and material for building the track and tear it down for free. Skip Schultz will do all the announcing and bring the cones and flags. He will also promote the ATV Extreme Challenge. The ATV Adventure Weekend needs to be trademarked.

b.

Shirts: should everyone get the same t-shirt? Buy your own? Cost would be about $15 to $20 per shirt. Shirts would be worn for events. Color would be bright yellow. Buck Rank made a motion to accept, second by Todd Rudie, carried.

c.

Can coolers: with logo $3 or $4, club price $2

d.

Lions Club food stand: will pay club $150 if members can work it on Sat. Aug. 19 from 5 to 11 pm. A motion not to work at the stand was made by Gary , second by Steve, carried.

e.

Volunteers are needed for grass drags. Sign up!

f.

Pulls and drags have sponsors for trophies but need more. Cost is $500 for pulls, $600 for drags. $50 by sponsor for trophies.

g.

Suggestion was made to look at trail into Green Valley and possibly re-route it.
